Monu-Cad Lite! is a Windows '95-98-ME-NT-2000-XP point of sale presentation program designed specifically to aid in the selection, personalization, layout and designing of Cemetery Memorials for customer approval.

Monu-Cad Lite! can display the many thousands of memorial designs entered into the Monu-Cad System over the past 15 years and the over 90 true memorial alphabets also available in the system.  Any design which can be created in Monu-Cad can be used in Monu-Cad Lite! ... from the smallest marker or corner post to mausoleums, columbariums and feature memorials.  All in true 1:1 scale!  The visual Thumbnail File Selector is now a standard feature!!

Years of serious thought and work have been devoted to making this program as easy to use as possible. The first goal in developing this program was to be able to teach it's operation to someone in the Monument Industry in less than an hour. Field tests have shown that sales personnel can begin to use the program after only 15 minutes of instruction and that after only 2 hours of use, operators become quite proficient!

Monu-Cad Lite! ease of use is achieved by implementing two concepts:

The first concept requires that all memorial designs in the database of designs should be fully completed designs and completed memorial layouts. Anytime the operator loads a drawing file, the lettering there on should be properly sized and placed. All panels, symbols and other design elements should be already in place on the memorial. The operator should not be asked to "fill out" an empty shell of a memorial with "pieces".

The second concept involves the development of Monu-Cad's "Click & Type"® Technology. Click & Type simply requires that the operator point to the item on the screen he wishes to modify, click, type in the change and the change is made immediately. As of the release of this version, the technology has become so advanced that in many cases it has become more of a click & click technology.
